GownGrad was my capstone project, developed as part of my graduation thesis. The main goal was to create a user-friendly Android application that simplifies the process of renting graduation gowns. To efficiently store and manage user data, I utilized Firebase for real-time database capabilities and Room for local data persistence.

The app allows users to browse a wide selection of gowns based on their university and degree, ensuring that they can find the perfect attire for their special day. Users can manage their orders seamlessly, input their body measurements, and process payments, all from the convenience of their mobile devices.

Upon launching the app, users are presented with an intuitive interface that makes the gown selection process effortless. Once they select their desired gown, they can easily place an order and make modifications or cancellations if needed. Additionally, I implemented a registration system that allows users to track their order history and manage their preferences.

Overall, GownGrad aims to take the stress out of graduation gown rent, providing a comprehensive solution for users to find and rent the ideal attire for their graduation ceremony.
